New Pedophilia Charges Against “Love Church” Youth Pastor Jordan Baird

Yup.

And it’s still happening at the “Love Church” (formerly The Life Church in Manassas, Virginia, but now relocated to Gainesville, Virginia) following youth pastor Jordan Baird’s conviction and incarceration in January 2018 for pedophilia at the church.

Now new charges have been filed involving another minor molested at the “Love Church”.

In response to all the pedophilia that occurred at the “Love Church”, there has been no open confession, repentance and asking for forgiveness as Scripture demands. Instead, Senior Pastor David Baird – along with his pending successor Josh Baird and the rest of the Baird family which runs the church – announced they were forming an “independent” review of what happened.

That now seems, in hindsight, to have been a deceptive and hollow response, given the many lives destroyed by the pervasive culture of narcissism they created and sustained at the “Love Church” …

Which also allowed Jordan Baird to thrive there as a sexual predator and pedophile.

Their announcement also seems hollow given the two years of victim shaming they engaged in, through multiple public pronouncements of Jordan’s and the church’s innocence by the Baird family in their roles as the church leadership – while also acting aggressively behind the scenes to cover up the facts and silence those abused at the church.

It is now many months later, and their full “independent” review hasn’t seen the light of day.

Why?

In essence, the Baird Family Dynasty seems to have used the “independent” review as a ploy to tighten their control over the “Love Church” and its various “campuses”, while preventing any true accountability, responsibility and transparency.

It seems to have been their way of placating and distracting people for a season until it all blew over, thus insuring the truth of their complicity, their cover up and their attempts to silence the victims would never come out.

Now, however, eight months later their scheme is coming all unraveled.

Jordan David Baird, The Life Church

On August 6, 2018, the Grand Jury issued a second set of charges against Jordan Baird, alleging additional pedophilia involving another child who attended the church while his father and brother, Josh Baird, were propping him up in leadership.

We believe that the new upcoming trial will show that Senior Pastor David Baird, along with his other son and “Love Church” Pastor Josh Baird, knew of Jordan’s molestation of this second child – as well as other sexual predation at the church – while seeking to sweep the truth under the rug with their fake “independent” review.

At the same time, they have been busy consolidating the Baird family’s control over the church.

While announcing the “independent” review – with Josh Baird looking on in open support – David Baird unilaterally announced that he was assuming “Apostolic” status over all Life Church “campuses”. He also proclaimed that he was now the primary source of the church’s “vision”, that his wife and he were “directly under Jesus” and no one else, and that everyone else was “under” them.

His lack of accountability to any proper church governance, David Baird went on to rationalize, was needed to put the church in “proper order”.

It’s all a continuation of the same Baird family narcissism which allowed Jordan Baird to thrive as a sexual predator under his father at the “Love Church”, and which still characterizes the church and its Baird family leadership to this day.

As you will see, the indictments claim he used his supervisory and custodial position to engage in the repeated, vile and disgusting molestation of another child, for which he now faces a second criminal trial following his earlier conviction on other pedophile charges:

8/9/2018:

Jordan Baird was taken into custody this morning on his new pedophile charges.

Normal practice in Prince William County, where the alleged abuse occurred, is to DENY bond for second arrests of a convicted sex offender like Jordan Baird. Nonetheless, he was released on bond in record time.

Apparently, privilege walks.

We will report back as we learn more.

The judge has set Jordan Baird’s trial for February 25 – 28, 2019, with any pre-trial motions to be heard on December 13, 2018 and February 19, 2019.
