Victims need caring ministry to help find spiritual health. Someone who has been exploited – whether spiritually, sexually, emotionally or financially – by a trusted leader unavoidably will be deeply wounded. Simply understanding the cognitive issues through traditional counseling often is not enough to find complete wholeness.
Nathan’s Voice has access to skilled volunteers who are trained to minister to the spiritual needs of abuse victims. These volunteers have helped literally hundreds of abuse victims – of all kinds – find lasting, permanent healing. Such ministry is not a substitute for professional, licensed counselors, but is an important additional element to help victims find freedom from associated hurts.
